3D visualisation of Hubble's most iconic image - the "Pillars of Creation" - based on data from Hubble, DSS and ESO. This was commissioned by BBC for their documentary about Hubble Space Telescope on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its launch, in April 2020. 

This is a hybrid 2.5D/3D animation, created in Cinema 4D and Adobe After Effects by me and Martin Kornmesser. This is heavily science driven, as we tried to stay as close to the real data. Stars were extracted from the GAIA database.
